About this Course: This blended learning course includes online education on Educational Theories and how they relate to Simulation-Based Education. This is paired with a teleconferencing course that walks the learner through the components for Creating Experiential Education, the Facilitator/Faculty Role, and SiTEL specific information on Project Intake Processes and our Learning Management System for tracking participation and evaluation.

Objectives
- 1. Relate the components of the ADDIE-I model to the creation of simulation-based education during working meetings with SiTEL associates.
- 2. Demonstrate components of experiential learning events while working with SiTEL associates, such as: writing objectives, writing learner actions, and practicing debriefing.
- 3. Describe the role of the Faculty/Facilitator pre, intra, and post-simulation events.
- 4. Summarize the process for initiating a project through SiTEL Project Intake
- 5. Describe utilization of the SiTEL LMS (Learning Management System) for tracking educational offerings, participation, and evaluation.
- 6. Identify the roles and responsibilities of members of the healthcare team involved in the collaborative design, development and implementation of simulation based education.
- 7. Integrate a team-based approach in the design, development and implementation of simulation based education.
