Objectives
- After completion of this bundle, the OR RN will be able to describe safe practices relate to universal protocol and the surgical count policy.
- At the completion of this bundle the OR RN will be able to explain safety measures related to malignant hyperthermia (MH), fire safety, laser safety, and use of patient emergency evacuation equipment.
- At the completion of this bundle, the OR RN will be able to describe proper practices for use of USE, instrument cleaning, and sharps safety.
- At the completion of this bundle, the OR RN will be able to describe proper waste disposal.
- At the completion of this bundle, the OR RN will be able to discuss safe handling of bariatric patients.
- At the completion of this bundle, the OR RN will be able to explain LAST and safe handling of hazardous drugs, and blood components.
