- • Describe the elements of performance (EP) included in the Joint Commission (JC) Perinatal Standards
- • Describe treatments, interventions, and plan of care for pregnant patients with severe hypertension, preeclampsia, and eclampsia
- • Explain stage based actions related to maternal hemorrhages
- • Identify associate roles in dealing with maternal hemorrhages
- • Provide role-specific education for providers, midwives, and nursing staff who care for pregnant or postpartum patients
- • Review the MedStar Health Clinical Practice Guideline for the Management of Obstetrical Hemorrhage
