MedStar Health Home Care recognizes that many of our patients need specialized wound care. MedStar Health's individualized approach to treating patients' wounds reduces complications, promotes healing, decreases the chance of infections, and keeps patients healing safely at home. This module will give you an overview of wound assessment and documentation in the home care setting. Your agency WOCN will go into more detail about wound assessment and documentation during the wound/ostomy skills lab scheduled during your orientation.
