- Introduce a Checklist process that supports providers and leaders when implementing new procedures or lab testing
- Learn the MedStar Health (MSH) process for determining whether a skill is within scope for an MA
- Review Board of Medicine guidance for “assistants” scope of practice (SOP)
- Understand how/when MAs are trained and deemed competent to perform delegated tasks
