The online course is designed to provide relevant critical care staff with the necessary knowledge and skills to handle post-cardiotomy resuscitation scenarios. It covers a variety of content, such as a video enactment of a post-cardiotomy resuscitation scenario, instructions on closed-loop communication, demonstrations of essential skills and equipment, 8 key roles and their responsibilities in the resuscitation team, and three algorithms for post-cardiotomy patient resuscitation and their differences from ACLS. Overall, this course provides a comprehensive and practical approach to post-cardiotomy patient resuscitation. Learners will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge of the algorithms in realistic scenarios, ensuring they are prepared to provide the best possible care to patients in need.
