This class is targeted toward experienced nurses who are becoming clinical coaches or experienced coaches in need of an update or refresher. The experienced nurse will learn how to orient new nurses by utilizing effective teaching strategies and deliberate communication techniques, while ensuring completion of the required documentation. The course also includes a review of the structured orientation process to assist in ensuring a comprehensive experience for new orientees. All nurses who are looking to coach should first take this course.
