The presentation is designed for nurses, physicians, case managers, social workers, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team who are responsible for delivering care to patients and their families in the new coordinated manner. The course includes explanations of the IMOC absolutes - checklist-based interdisciplinary care rounds (IDRs), physician and nurse bedside rounding together, five-minute sitting with patient and/or family, and estimating the date of the patient's discharge - and video presentations of what these “look like” in practice.
