Neonatal intraventricular hemorrhage (IVH) is a significant source of morbidity and mortality in neonates, especially as gestational age decreases. Implementation of an evidence-based IVH prevention and reduction bundle – extending through beyond delivery, the Golden Hour, and the first days of life in the neonatal intensive care unit -- can reduce the preterm newborn’s susceptibility to severe IVH.
