MWHC Behavioral Health Emergency Response Team (BERT) show details
A Code BERT is called when a patient is experiencing a behavioral health crisis and the unit staff need assistance in managing the situation.
The team is composed of clinical personnel with expertise in behavioral health who are trained to respond to medical, surgical, obstetrical units in event of behavioral health crisis. The goal is to have clinical personnel responding to patient care situations. The back-up team members support the lead in the BERT response.
The BERT team includes:
