Who this course is for: This course is for MWHC bedside nurses outside of the ICU.
What this course covers: It reviews the qSOFA sepsis tool and its role in sepsis response, as well as the different roles involved in sepsis response and quality improvement goals for qSOFA and lactic acid collection (current as of September 2023). This course is designed to supplement annual sepsis education for nurses and does not cover topics such as risk factors for sepsis, preventing sepsis, and treating sepsis.
What this course does not cover: Comprehensive sepsis response at MWHC; risk factors for sepsis; preventing sepsis; treating sepsis
